Alternia has always been a planet for the children of the Troll race. Our ruler, Her Imperial Condescension, makes sure of that. It’s a measure to prevent uprisings, I guess. It sooths the well-known and very seldom discussed fear she has. Some of the more daring say that it’s related to my ancestor and the huge rebellion he caused, but they’re usually the ones that get browbeaten into submission long before they reach eight and a half sweeps.

Tell me now, what kind of life is this? I’m hiding in my own body, disguised as someone that I used to be but never actually became. I’m still alive!

I’m so sorry, I’ve just gone missing haven’t I? I’ve been dealing with school, life, and some writer’s block that has been fading in and out. The next chapter for Rewind Please is in progress now and I’ve got some rp-based shorts that I might as well post here too. I’m going to try to be a lot more active from here on out. There’s also plenty of plot bunnies floating around, so there might be a few of those if I let myself write them out.

Also, I’d like to give a big “HELLO” to all of my new followers! There’s almost ten of you now and that’s amazing to me. I might do a request for the tenth follower and that’s only one follower away, so there’s also that!

The familiar voice comes to you through a haze, as if it’s just a whisper. You feel a hand on your shoulder, and more voices, but you just groan and roll over. Another voice adds to the whispers, grumbling displeasure from a million miles away. Finally a sharp bolt of pain pulls you out of your haze. Your eyes fly open to faces hovering over you and whispering mouths fluttering away. It looks as though Sollux just slapped you and Dave is trying to tell you something.
